Hi. I’m Meghan, this is my spouse and partner-in-crime, Andrew, and these are the logs of our attempts to live both frugally and well. This usually entails mounds of unfinished DIY and home improvement projects and more homemade food than can possibly be consumed by two people, which means we love it when we get to share our table with friends and family. Currently, this blog focuses on our meals, which we try to keep simple, nutritious, and of course, delicious. When they are not delicious, they don’t get blogged about. Unless they are so completely not delicious that they deserve to be laughed and pointed at.
We live in a small, one-bedroom walk up in Chicago. Our floors are slope-y and our kitchen small. In the title of the title blog, the word “house” is used loosely.
